Mack Zeigler

Emzie Mack Zeigler, 72 of Prosperity, SC died Thursday, July 4, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family.

A funeral service will take place at St Luke’s Lutheran Church, 4056 St. Luke’s Church Road, Prosperity SC on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 2:00 pm by the Rev. Jason Schafer. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall after the service.

Born September 6, 1940, in Newberry to the late Rev. Edwin David Zeigler and Ruby Hawkins Zeigler.   He graduated from Cameron High School and attended Newberry College. He was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and served as a council member.  He retired from Honeywell International after 42 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Joyce  Collins Zeigler, he is survived by his two daughters, Patti Branham and her husband, Bud of Prosperity, Shelley Remion and her husband, Todd of Pomaria , a brother Joe Zeigler and his wife, Margaret of White Rock, grandchildren, Colby Hunter, Kelsey Branham, Drayton Branham, Caleb Remion and Collins Remion and mother-in-law, Allene Collins of Newberry formerly of Latta.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church Bus Fund, 4056 St. Luke's Church Road, Prosperity, SC 29127.
