Mamie Bedenbaugh

Mamie L. Bedenbaugh, 91, died Sunday, July 24, 2011, at White Oak Manor.

Born on October 26, 1919, in Little Mountain. She was the daughter of the late Boyd and Lola Counts Farr. Mrs. Bedenbaugh was a homemaker before she moved to White Oak Manor, Newberry in 2008. She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.

She is survived by one daughter, June Bedenbaugh Minick (Tommy) Stevenson; a nephew, Paul Bedenbaugh, who acted with love like a son, with the care of Mrs. Mamie for a long period of time; grandchildren, Marla (Gary) Hutto, Austin (Charlotte) Minick, and Dean Minick; great-grandchildren, Natasha (Arthur) Neroshchin, Angel Brazier and Kristen McDowell; three great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; brothers, Jack (Ann) Farr, Billy (Janelle) Farr, Frank (Mary) Farr. She was predeceased by her husband, Ira Bedenbaugh, a grandson, Tony Minick and a sister, Mable Farr Lindler.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home by the Rev. Jason Schafer. Burial will follow in St. Luke’s Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall Fund, 4056 St. Luke’s Church Road, Prosperity, SC 29127.
