Marcy Almond DeHart, 76, of Pomaria, died Monday, March 16, 2020 at Lexington Medical Center.
Born on September 16, 1943 in Albemarle, NC, she was a daughter of the late Roy Lee and Alberta Mauldin Almond. She was a retired cosmetologist and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Mrs. DeHart is survived by her husband, Robert E. DeHart; daughters, Dannett (Kenny) Banks, Donna (James) Dowd and Lynn (Derrill) Graham all of Pomaria; a step-daughter, Haley (Garrick) Wise of Kinard; a sister, Elaine (Keith) Dominick of Newberry; grandchildren, Brittany (Jon) Paul, Bradley Cumalander (Madison), Jamie (Lance) Hall, Josh Graham, Jeremy (Stacey) Graham, Taylor Wise and Zack Wise; seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kristin Miller and a sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Jack Bousner.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, March 19, 2020 at St. Paul Lutheran Church by the Rev. Brent Nichols. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2496 SC Highway 773, Pomaria, SC 29126.
Active pallbearers will be Chris Graham, Josh Graham, Jeremy Graham, Bill Kern, Jesse Farr and Allen Farr.
