Margaret Doolittle

Margaret Sue Berley Doolittle, 93, of Whitmire, widow of Tommy Roy Doolittle, died Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at Wallace Thomson of Union.

Born on January 12, 1921, in Pomaria, she was a daughter of the late Cyrus Edward “Teet” and Lucy Graham Berley. She was retired from J.P. Stevens and was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Doolittle is survived by sons, Chester (Gail) Doolittle of Greenwood and Roy (Dee Dee) Doolittle of Whitmire. She was predeceased by sisters, Frances Cathcart, Ola Mae Doolittle and Evelyn Kiker.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church by the Rev. Mat Brewington and Rev. Eddie Duncan. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the Reese Building. Memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 2360 Mt. Pleasant Road, Pomaria, SC 29126.

Active pallbearers will be Charles Doolittle, Ray Doolittle, Ricky Kiker, Darren Doolittle, Jordan Gregory and Ian Elsmore.
