Margie Ward

Margie MC Turner Ward, 74, of Prosperity, widow of Jessie Lewis Ward, Jr., died Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on September 12, 1941, in Newry, SC, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Boone and Elmer Smith Turner. She was a member of Wightman United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Ward is survived by daughters, Sara Jane Graham, Marie Hendrix and Diane Lathrop; a sister, Georgia Fulmer; a brother, Buck Turner; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at 2:00 pm at Wightman United Methodist Church.
