Marjorie Shealy Wicker, 97, of Little Mountain, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at the Heritage at Lowman.

Born on September 29, 1916, in Little Mountain, she was a daughter of the late Magnus and Mary Stoudemire Shealy. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School for many years. She was also a member of WELCA now known as Sisters in Christ. Mrs. Wicker worked at Mid Carolina Country Club and sold Avon.

She is survived by sons, Robert (Brenda) Wicker, Donald (Margie) Wicker and daughter-in-law, Gayle Wicker; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Grady B. Wicker and sons, Grady Wicker, Jr. and Wendell Wicker, a great-granddaughter, Jessica Grooms and siblings, Evelyn Wicker, Robert Shealy and Leon Shealy.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church by the Rev. Brett Collins and grandson, Rev. Jimmy Wicker. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends following the committal service in the Trinity Life Center. Memorials may be made to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund or Organ Fund, PO Box 186, Little Mountain, SC 29075.

Active pallbearers will be Larry Fulmer, Larry Grooms, Fred Wicker, Greg Wicker, Jared Wicker, Jimmy Wicker, Richard Wicker and Robbie Wicker.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Women of the Church.
