Marlana Kooistra

Marla a Sue Brown Kooistra, 65, of Prosperity, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023, at her home.

Born on February 8, 1958, in Fort Worth, TX, she was the daughter of the late William and Charlotte Marie Petrie Brown.  Mrs. Kooistra served for thirteen years in the Air Force Reserves and had been a caregiver.

She is survived by her husband, John Kooistra; sons, Matthew Schelbitzki and Clint Schelbitzki; brothers, Keith Martin, Kevin Martin, Kenny Martin and Curtis Brown and grandchildren, Tristin Schelbitzki, Grayson Schelbitzki, Lincoln Schelbitzki and Logan Schelbitzki.
