Marsha Bowles

Marsha Lynn Bowles, 60, of Newberry, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Prisma Health Baptist Parkridge.

Born on December 6, 1963, in Newberry, she was the daughter of Homer Wilson Bowles and the late Mary Kinard Bowles.  She was a former registered nurse at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home and was a member of First Baptist Church of Newberry.

She is survived by her father, Wilson Bowles of Newberry and dear friends, Jeremy and Amy Lux and their family, Jessica Lux, Jason Lux and Sally Lux.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home by the Rev. Dr. Albert Allen.  Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. 

Visitation will be Saturday from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. 

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 1020 Boundary Street, Newberry, SC 29108.

Active pallbearers will be Jeremy Lux, Jason Lux, Casey Smith, Wayne Kinard, Jr., Wayne Kinard, Sr., Kris Kneece and Danny Clark.
