Martha Amick

Martha Sease Amick, of Chapin, widow of John Wesley Amick, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at age 92. She was born in Newberry County a daughter of the late Joseph Horace and Phebe Shealy Sease.

She is survived by her children, Lucy Jackson, Darleen (Mike) Eargle, Johnny Amick, Patsy Paul, Linda (Zane) Stoudemire, Carroll Amick and Danny Amick. Her grandchildren are Michael (Allison) Jackson, Wesley (Stephanie) Jackson, Mindy Amick (Craig Speer), Becky (Josh) Livingston, Anna Teseniar, Brittany Stoudemire, Patrick Amick and Tyler Stoudemire and her great-grandchildren are Nicholas, Haylee, Lyndsay, Carolyne, Hannah, Joshua, Bailey, Lacy, Macy, Skylar and Landen. She is also survived by her sister, Carolyn Hunt; brother, Horace Sease and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Amick was predeceased by a brother, Heyward Sease and sons-in-law, Roger Jackson and Ronnie Paul.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Chapin by the Rev. Dave Tholstrup. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:30 – 3:30 pm at the church on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church, 900 Dreher Island Road, Chapin, SC 29036.

Active pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Wesley Jackson, Patrick Amick, Tyler Stoudemire, Anna Teseniar, Becky Livingston and Josh Livingston.
