Mary Ella “Am” Graham Glymph, of Pomaria, who celebrated her 103 rd birthday on November 21 st entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

She was retired from Old School Manufacturing. “Am” was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church where she was involved over the years in many aspects of the church. She played the organ for 60 years, was involved with the 55+ Group, the Women's Missionary Society, and was an honorary member of the Men's Group. “Am” never complained and always was content and satisfied in any situation that God gave her to face.

“Am” is survived by nieces, Brenda G. Chappell (Mike, deceased) and Mitzi S. Beckham (David); great nephews and nieces, Mark Chappell (Sharon), Dr. Michael Chappell (Sheila), Tammy Beckham, Suzanne Beckham and Melissa Chappell; great-great-nieces and nephews, Chase Chappell, Jarrod Chappell (Anna), Caleb Chappell, Wesley Bayles, Drew Bayles, Mollie Shuker and Lucy Shuker. To all of the above, she was more like a mother and grandmother than an aunt. She was a special friend to all who knew her. She was the last surviving of her siblings having been predeceased by a sister, Ezerlee Stoudemire and a brother, Olin Graham.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church by the Rev. Bob Huggins. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Prior to the service the family will be at the home of Brenda Chappell and they will also receive friends following the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 2360 Mt.Pleasant Road, Pomaria, SC 29126 or to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1741, Greenwood, SC 29648.

Active pallbearers will be Russell Kibler, Anthony Pelton, Mark Chappell, Dr. Michael Chappell, John Doolittle, Jimmy Ringer and Charles Leitzsey.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church 55+ Group.
