Mary T. Palmer

Mary T. Richardson Palmer, 84, of Newberry, formerly of Orlando, FL, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Eddie Mills.

Born on December 4, 1928, in Charlotte, NC, she was a daughter of the later Guss N. and Pearl Padgett Tompkins. She was a retired seamstress and a member of Pine Castle Methodist Church of Pine Castle, FL.

Ms. Palmer is survived by a son, William N. (Peggy) Richardson of Newberry; a daughter, Cindy (Eddie) Mills of Newberry; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Helen T. Lewis.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Newberry Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Bill Ebner. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 – 7:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Tri County Hospice of SC, 1348 Wilson Road, Newberry, SC 29108 or to the charity of one's choice.

Active pallbearers will be grandsons.
