Mary W. Boykin

Mary White Boykin, 95, of Columbia, widow of Charles O. Boykin, died Friday, June 23, 2017, at Palmetto Health Richland

Born on September 7, 1921, in Manning, she was the daughter of Hubert L. White, Sr. and Elizabeth Ridgeway White. She was retired from Seibels Bruce Insurance and was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Little Mountain.

Mrs. Boykin is survived by a daughter, Katheryn “Kitty” (William H.) Caldwell of Little Mountain; a brother, Hubert L. (Mickey) White, Jr. of Charleston; a granddaughter, Jean Caldwell (Robby) Barnes and a great-grandson, Will Barnes.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church by the Rev. Brett Collins. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 10:45 am in the Trinity Life Center of the church. Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund, PO Box 186, Little Mountain, SC 29075.
