Mavis Farmer Livingston, 89, of Prosperity, died Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at White Oak Manor.
Born on May 16, 1930 in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late John and Essie Butler Farmer. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Little Mountain Chapter.
Mrs. Livingston is survived by a daughter, Christina “Tina” Long; grandchildren, Tommy (Jill) Longshore and Shana (Gary) Staten; a great-granddaughter, Taylor Longshore; a brother, John W. “J.W.” Farmer and sisters, Marvoureen Morris and Sheila (Jimmie) Harmon.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, July 26, 2019 at Newberry Memorial Gardens by the Rev. R.T. Bowling. Memorials may be made to the Zion United Methodist Church Building Fund, 80 Zion Circle, Prosperity, SC 29127 or to the S.C Humane Society, 121 Humane Lane, Columbia, SC 29209.
