Michael Harold Perkins

Michael H. Perkins, 61, of West Columbia died Wednesday, October 14, 2009.

Born on April 2, 1948 in Newberry, he was a son of Pansey Elrod Perkins and the late Harold C. Perkins. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Hunt Memorial Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother of Newberry, his wife, Judy Sutton Perkins; a son, Michael Kade (Niki) Perkins of Charleston; a daughter, Vesta (Rick) Simmons of Woodruff; sisters, Cindy Bartley of Newberry and Debbie Little of Faytteville, NC; grandchildren, Christopher and Caylee Simmons

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Rosemont Cemetery by the Rev. Michael Turner. The family is at his home, 132 Alexandria Street, West Columbia and at the home of his sister Cindy Bartley,1102 Timberwood Lane, in Newberry
