Michael McCormack

Michael Dudrow McCormack, 72, of Prosperity, died Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Lexington Medical Center.

Born on October 10, 1946 in Tiffin, OH, he was a son of the late John Clifford and Dorothy Dudrow McCormack. He was an Army veteran and was a building contractor with Cormac and Associates. Mr. McCormack was a member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church and a former member of the Mid Carolina Country Club.

He is survived by his wife, Marlene Rister McCormack; sons, Jason (Missy) McCormack, Chad McCormack and Jake McCormack; a daughter, Shannon (Justin) Carter; a sister, Jane Ramseth; brothers, Chuck McCormack and Ed McCormack and seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by siblings, Phyllis Heck, Bob McCormack and Jack McCormack.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 am Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hope for BraveHEARTS, PO Box 2924, Irmo, SC 29063 or to Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church Organ Fund, 816 Mt. Tabor Road, Little Mountain, SC 29075.
