Mildred Silman

Mildred Virginia Silman 92, of Princeton, West Virginia widow of Virgil Howard Silman, died Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at White Oak Manor in Newberry, South Carolina

Born on March 11, 1922 in Crumpler, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Avon Hurst and Laura Jane Lloyd Hurst.

Mrs. Silman is survived by a son Harold Brent Silman and daughter-in-law Barbara Jane Silman of Prosperity, South Carolina; a granddaughter Melisa Dawne Silman-Rowe and a grandson in law Franklin Olin Rowe, III of Columbia, South Carolina; grandson Shannon Jack Silman of Columbia, South Carolina; sister Adrian Arlene Couch of Princeton, West Virginia; nephews Bobby, Ronnie and Johnny Hurst of Princeton, West Virginia and a niece Phyllis Burchette of Princeton, West Virginia. She was predeceased by a son Eugene Dwight Silman, a sister Lucille Vance Bennett of Princeton, West Virginia; two brothers Ovie Lee Hurst and Avon Manual Hurst of Princeton, West Virginia.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, December 5, 2014, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lawton, OK. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:30 pm Friday at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Becker-Rabon Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements in Lawton, OK.
