Mildred W. Boozer

Mildred Werts Boozer, 89, of Silverstreet, widow of Heyward Boozer, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Emerald Ridge in Asheville, NC.

Born on March 27, 1926 in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Annie Lake Werts. She was a member of Silverstreet Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Boozer is survived by daughters, Pat (Charles) Boyd and Harriet (John) Thompson; a sister, Katherine Simpson; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, March 25, 2016, at Silverstreet Lutheran Church Cemetery by the Rev. Harry Crout. Memorials may be made to the church, 120 Long Street, Silverstreet, SC 29145.
