Myrtle Sharpe

Myrtle Ruth Ramsey Sharpe, 88, of Newberry, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at White Oak Manor.

Born on May 26, 1921 in Woodruff, she was a daughter of the late William and Lilly Morris Ramsey. She was retired after 20 years of service from Louis Rich.

Surviving are her sons, Paul Wayne (Teresa) Tucker, William Broadus Tucker and Bobby Dean (Kathy) Tucker; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husbands, Paul Tucker and Wesley Sharpe; a son, Danny Ray Tucker; a daughter, Carolyn Mankukeiyo and 2 grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2009, at Rosemont Cemetery by Bishop Manasseh Mankukeiyo. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
