Nancy McDonald

Nancy Stone McDonald, 81, of Clover, died Sunday, May 14, 2017, at CMC – Pineville.

A native of Newberry, South Carolina, she was born on March 25, 1936, to the late George and Ethel Livingston Stone. Mrs. McDonald was a graduate of Newberry High School and Winthrop College and was a school teacher all of her life.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Thomas E. McDonald, with whom she has two daughters Katherine Hinson (Eric) and Georganna Walker (Hobie). She has four grandchildren Thomas Hinson (Bryanne), Kate Hinson, Mac Walker, and Sarah Walker. She has one great-grandchild Thomas Hinson Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Rosemont Cemetery in Newberry, South Carolina. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, May 18, 2017, at River Hills Community Church in Lake Wylie, South Carolina. Both services will be conducted by Rev. Gayle Montgomery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hospice of your choice.
