Nancy T. Bouknight

Nancy Ann Taylor Bouknight, 74, of Newberry, widow of Charles Gilbert Bouknight, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at White Oak Manor.

Born on August 2, 1937, in Goldville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Ezra Thomas and Birdia Ann Carter Taylor. She was retired from Bilo and was a member of Newberry Church of God.

She is survived by a son, Wallace (Lisa) Bouknight of Mauldin; a daughter, Melody (Tim) Walters of Abbeville; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Walter Leroy Bouknight and a great-grandson, Chandler Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm Friday, March 30, 2012, at Newberry Church of God by the Rev. Michael Shirley. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday at the church from 2:00 pm until the hour of service. Memorials may be made to the Newberry Church of God Building Fund, 2693 College Street, Newberry, SC 29108.

Active pallbearers will be Jeremy Bouknight, Justin Bouknight, Nicholas Bouknight, Chris Bullard, Lee Dunaway and Randy Taylor.

Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Bouknight and Jason Maroney.
