Neva Ann Risavich

Neva Ann Evans Risavich, 71, of Prosperity, died Friday, July 5, 2013, at her residence.

Born on August 20, 1941, in Waco, TX, she was a daughter of the late John Doward and Hazel Bellringer Evans. She was retired from Newberry County Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse. Mrs. Risavich was an active member of Wightman United Methodist Church where she participated in many church activities.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Anthony Risavich, Sr.; a son, Frank Anthony Risavich, Jr. of Ninety Six; a daughter, Donna (William) Rion of Hollywood, FL; a brother, John Doward Evans, Sr. of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; grandchildren, William Lee Rion, Jr. and Aubrey Elaine Rion both of Hollywood, FL. She was predeceased by a sister, Rita Jo Lee.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Wightman United Methodist Church by the Rev. Dean Lollis. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the National Cancer Research Foundation, PO Box 131, St. James, NY 11780.
