Norman C. "Bill" Bowers

Bill Bowers died Saturday, December 22, 2012 at home in Greer, SC.

He is pre-deceased by his wife, Ruby Brewington-Bowers of 35 years and by “Pat” Pansy Staton of 20 years who were both beloved to him.

He is survived by his sister Zenola Bowers of Cayce and his sons, Jimmy and Donna Howard of South Congaree and their sons, Paul and Chris, and Sterling and Nancy Bowers of Irmo and their son, David, and Jerry and Rebecca Bowers of Lexington and by his step daughter, Delores and Jimmy Leith of Statesville, NC and their sons, James III, Daniel and daughter, Jamie Michaud as well as many other beloved family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home at 1724 Main Street, Newberry, S.C. 29108 with burial to follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 pm on Thursday.
