Ola Mae Berley Doolittle, 100, of Pomaria, widow of Ray C. “Doc” Doolittle, died Monday, January 20, 2014.

Born on September 28, 1913, in Pomaria, she was a daughter of the late Cyrus and Lucy Graham Berley. Mrs. Doolittle was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Methodist Women and the 55+ Group.

She is survived by her children, Josephine “Jo” (Roland) Kibler, J.C. (Charlsie) Doolittle, Mary Eva Bedenbaugh and Charles (Lou) Doolittle all of Pomaria; sisters, Margaret Sue Doolittle of Whitmire and Evelyn Kiker of Newberry; grandchildren, Cindy Kibler, Russell (Francelle) Kibler, Sheila (Anthony) Pelton, Laura Doolittle, Paige (Edward) Graham, Jason (Renee) Bedenbaugh, Renee (Chris) Routon, Michael (Jane) Doolittle, John Doolittle, Travis (Melissa) Doolittle, Daron (Mona) Doolittle; great-grandchildren, Logan Bedenbaugh, Leah Bedenbaugh, Brooke Doolittle, Griff Doolittle, Cameron Doolittle, Connor Doolittle, Claire Doolittle, Bailey Doolittle, Grantt Doolittle, Colby Doolittle, Tristen Doolittle, Daniel Doolittle, Taylor Graham, Madison Graham, Harper Graham, Blake Kibler, Andrea Kibler, Alex Kibler, Dillon Pelton, Blair Pelton and Jesse Routon. Mrs. Doolittle was predeceased by a sister, Frances Cathcart and a son-in-law, Jessie “Bud” Bedenbaugh.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church by the Rev. George Riser and the Rev. Mat Brewington. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 2360 Mt. Pleasant Road, Pomaria, SC 29126.

Active pallbearers will be Jason Bedenbaugh, Michael Doolittle, John Doolittle, Travis Doolittle, Daron Doolittle, Edward Graham, Russell Kibler and Anthony Pelton.
