Patricia Phillips Dyal, 67, of Silverstreet, widow of Jeremiah Dyal, died Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
Born on November 4, 1950, in Wallhalla, she was a daughter of the late Jesse James and Margie Lay Phillips. She was the 1969 salutatorian of Hickory Tavern High School and a member of the Saluda River Bible Hour.
Mrs. Dyal is survived by a son, Jeremiah (Rebecca) Dyal II of North; daughters, Kellie (Eddie) Patterson, Jessica Dyal (Philip Caswell) and Christie (Danny) Dyal all of Silverstreet, Kelly Evans of Fuquay Varina, NC and Dawn Gugel of Kinards; sisters, Nancy Stone of Blythewood, Charlotte Robinson of Belton and Rita Hester of Pelzer; brothers, Ralph Phillips and Ronnie Phillips both Princeton; grandchildren, Kaedyn Dyal, Jeremiah Dyal III, Addyson Grace Caswell, Jonah Dee-Matthew Caswell. She was predeceased by a brother, Jerry Phillips.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by Mr. B. F. Snow. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Saluda River Bible Hour, 1283 Saluda River Road, Lot 57, Silverstreet, SC 29145.
