Patricia Scott

Patricia Harthcock Scott, 83 , of Pomaria, died Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Hospice of Laurens County.

Born on October 30, 1940 in Rosedale, OK, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Pauline Brewer Harthcock.

Mrs. Scott grew up in Cressey, CA, and she and her husband lived in Turlock, CA, Rice Lake, WI, Grenora, ND, and moved to Pomaria in 2004. 

She was a talented artist and loved to travel when she was able. Patricia liked to work in her yard, and throughly enjoyed raking and burning leaves. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Scott is survived by her husband of 67 years, Glenn G. Scott; a son, Jeffery (Kristi) Scott of Pomaria; a sister, La Donna Lemos of Modesto, CA; grandchildren, Derek Scott of Fargo, ND, Trisha Kreil of Trenton, ND, Matthew Scott of Charleston, and Veronica Scott, of Columbia; great-grandchildren, Haylee Sundby, Ashtyn Kreil, Alayna Kreil,Jack Kreil, and Trayce Burwell. She was predeceased by a son, Gary Scott and by a brother, Arnold Harthcock.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church by the Rev. Arden Hallman. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 209 New Hope Road, Pomaria, SC 29126.
