Pat McCullough

Patsy J. “Pat” Blackburn McCullough, 77, of Chapin, widow of Eaketh McCullough, Sr., passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, at her home.

Born on March 10, 1947, in McKenzie, AL, was the daughter of the late J.W. and Lottie Brooks Blackburn. She retired from the ophthalmologist office of Dr. R.E. Livingston. People were Pat’s life and she never met a stranger. Pat loved her pets. She attended Cross Point Church.

Pat is survived by her son, R. Lamar Stinson (Tommy Phillips) of Hilton Head; daughter, Dayna Cousins (Marty) of Columbia; brothers, Jack Blackburn (Jeannie) of Newberry and Dewayne Blackburn (Nancy)of Chapin; step-daughter, Eleandor Minick (Kevin); daughter-in-law, Laura McCullough; granddaughters, Shelby McCullough and Emily McCullough; grandsons, Conrad Minick and Chase Minick; special nieces and nephew, Samm Dorn (Brad), Natasha Blackburn and Nick Blackburn (Meghan) great-nieces, Victoria Walton and Addisyn Blackburn and her caregiver, Doris Phillips.

Pat was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Linda Blackburn and step-son, Eaketh McCullough, Jr. who she loved and helped care for.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 17, 2025, at Cross Point Church by the Rev. Jeff O’Dell. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 am until the hour of service.
