Paul Blancher

William Paul Blancher, 57, of Prosperity, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Lexington Medical Center. 

Born on September 23, 1966, in Newberry, he was the son of the late Gerald and Sonja Snipes Blancher. Paul was a graduate of Newberry High School and retired from the Newberry Housing Authority. He was a member of Macedonia Lutheran Church and a die-hard Clemson fan. Paul loved bowling and cornhole. 

Paul is survived by his wife, Dana Auton Blancher; sons, David (Erin) Blancher of Clarksville, TN, Brandon Blancher of Boise, ID and Joshua Blancher of Prosperity; his father and mother in-law, Henry and Phyllis Auton, sister-in-law, Alicia Auton; niece, Courtney Cromer; nephew, Dillon Cromer, special cousin, Shannon (Wendi) Caudill and fur babies, Koda and Aspen. 

The family will hold a private memorial service for family and friends. Those attending are asked to wear Clemson colors or casual attire. 

The family will be at his residence.
