Paul N. Shealy, Sr.

Paul Norris Shealy, Sr., 83, of Newberry, widower of Willie Mae Shealy, died Friday, July 19, 2019 at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home.

Born on May 15, 1936 in Leesville, he was a son of the late Samuel Grady and Marzelle Fulmer Shealy. Mr. Shealy was retired from ISE America and was a member of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Newberry Amity Lodge # 87 and was a Shriner.

He is survived by sons, Paul N. (Johnette) Shealy, Jr. of Newberry and William G. (Cheryl) Shealy of Richburg; grandchildren, Amanda (Steven) Phillips, William Matthew Shealy, Daniel Paul (Meghan) Shealy and Lydia Marie Shealy; great-grandchildren, Morrighan Phillips, Maddock Phillips and Samuel Shealy. Mr. Shealy was predeceased by brothers, Samuel James Shealy and Hoyt Jerome Shealy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, July 22, 2019 at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home by the Rev. Jimmy Counts. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital, 950 Farris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.

Active pallbearers will be Steven Phillips, Matthew Shealy, Daniel Shealy, Josh Jones, Dwayne Jones, Bobby Shealy and Chris Parker.
