Pearl Leitzsey

Pearl Wicker Leitzsey, 84, of Pomaria, widow of Jacob Ray Leitzsey, died Sunday, September 1, 2013, at J. F. Hawkins Nursing Home.

Born on July 12, 1929, in Newberry County, she was a daughter of the late Adam and Essie Amick Wicker. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Leitzsey is survived by sons, Caroll Ray (Kathie) Leitzsey, Donnie Jacob (Cindy) Leitzsey, and Ronnie Jackson (Renee) Leitzsey all of Pomaria; a sister, Ruth Long of Pomaria, six grandchildren and a great-grandson. She was predeceased by a brother, Claude Wicker and a sister, Willie Mae Wicker.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery by the Rev. Steve Jackson and Rev. Art Hallman. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at 1298 Leitzsey Road, Pomaria.
