Rae Beck

Rae Tinsley Beck, 89, of Newberry, widow of Robert “Bobby” Beck, died Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on December 7, 1931, in Joanna, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Evelyn Frances Tinsley. She was a member of Glenn Street Baptist Church.

Mrs. Beck is survived by sons, Mike Beck and Keith Beck both of Newberry; grandchildren, Josh (Danielle Curry) Beck of Lexington and Kristen (Brett) Beck Carr of Rock Hill; great-grandchildren, Rucker Beck, Riley Beck, Conner Beck and Layne Carr. She was predeceased by a son, Terry Beck, a grandson, Justin Beck and siblings, Inez Compton, Nell Ellis, Agnes Bowers, Ramola Dunlap Bill Tinsley and Jim Tinsley.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Glenn Street Baptist Church by the Rev. Camden Bagwell. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm at the church. Memorials may be made to Glenn Street Baptist Church, 300 Glenn Street, Newberry, SC 29108.

Active pallbearers will be Clay Beck, Brad Beck, Nathan Beck, Brad Rikard, Randy Mills and Terry Longshore.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Beck and Brett Carr.
