Raymond Williams

Raymond Othell Williams, 85, of Newberry, widower of Linda Werts Williams, died Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Prisma Health Richland.

Born on October 27, 1936, in Newberry, he was the son of the late Roy Othell Williams and Elise Shealy Williams Brock. He was an Army veteran and worked at Young Chevrolet in Whitmire from 1973 until it closed. He then worked at Stoke's Trainor in Newberry. Mr. Williams was a member of Mayer Memorial Lutheran Church.

He is survived by a son, Michael T. Williams of Newberry and his significant other, Bobbie Nash of Newberry.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Rosemont Cemetery by the Rev. Paul Rowe. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
