Rebecca Donkle

G. Rebecca Donkle, 90, of Summerville, died Thursday, August 10, 2017, at The Methodist Oaks in Orangeburg.

Born on March 30, 1927, in Roebuck, she was a daughter of the late James W. and Martha Harrison Donkle. Miss Donkle was a retired home health care worker. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Summerville and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, Martha (Mark) Richardson, Michael Donkle, Mark (Leanna) Donkle and Anne (Randy) Wilson and eight great-nieces and nephews. Miss Donkle was predeceased by a sister, Evelyn D. Bowman and brother, James Ollie Donkle.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, August 13, 2017, at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church in Roebuck by the Rev. Chris Snelgrove. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.

Active pallbearers will be Kirby Richardson, Scott Richardson, Jed Donkle, Mark Donkle, Jr. and Mark Richardson.
