Reva Waldrup

Reva L. Waldrup, 76, of Prosperity, widow of Charles Waldrup, died Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at her residence.

Born on February 23, 1943 in Mobile, AL, she was a daughter of the late Ari Gibson and Elva Mae Wines Laney. She was retired from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church.

Mrs. Waldrup is survived by a son, Eddie (Stephanie) Waldrup; daughters, Dianne Harmon, Wanda (Wade) Morris and Tammy (Bobby) Teague; sisters, Shirley Gaylord, Martha Edwards, Loretta Griffin, Brenda Parton, Robin Gibson and Debbie Gibson; brothers, Dale Gibson, Jerry Gibson and Ervin Laney; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Calvary Pentecostal Church by the Rev. Charlie Clinton. The family will receive friends following the service. Burial will be on Monday in Edneyville, NC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Calvary Pentecostal Church, PO Box 444, Newberry, SC 29108.
