Richard Ray Sexton

Richard Ray Sexton, 61, of Pelion, died Sunday, November 6, 2022.

Born on January 28, 1961, in Greenville, AL, he was a son of the late Ruel Lee Sexton, Sr. and Irene Holmes Moran. He was employed with Michelin Tires.

Mr. Sexton is survived by sons, Ricky (Brittany) Sexton of Chapin, Jerry (Amber) Sexton of Leesville and Shawn (Ari) Sexton of Little Mountain; sisters, Betty Amick of Prosperity and Rachel Sexton of Greenville, AL; brothers, Ruel (Brenda) Paul and Billy (Carolyn) Sexton both of Prosperity, Bo Sampley, Charles (Christy) Sexton, Todd (Kristi) Sexton and David Sexton all of Greenville, AL; grandchildren, Reagan Sexton, Ryleigh Sexton, Brit Sexton, Tyler Sexton, Adalynn Sexton, Owen Sexton, J.W. Knight and Emeri Sexton. He was predeceased by a brother, Ruel “Boney” Sexton.

Graveside services will be held at 9:00 am Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
