Ricky Van Nicholson

Ricky Van Nicholson, 58, of Prosperity, died Friday, April 5, 2013, at his residence.

Born on August 21, 1954, in Rockwood, TN, he was a son of the late John David and Annie Lee Aaron Nicholson. He loved music and was a guitar player for the band Born.

He is survived by his son, Eric Nicholson of Savannah, GA; step-son, Arthur Rollins; sister, Sandy Nicholson of Statesboro, GA; brother, Chuck Nicholson of Prembroke, GA; a granddaughter, Malena Nicholson; step-grandchildren, Dustin, Keith and Jason and close friend Connie Rollins.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Bethel Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to his funeral expenses at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home, 1724 Main Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
