Robert L. Fulmer

Robert L. Fulmer, 74, of Prosperity, died Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born in Newberry on December 2, 1934, Mr. Fulmer was a son of the late Bernie and Lena Cannon Fulmer. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a plumber having retired from W.B. Guimerin, Inc. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.

Mr. Fulmer is survived by his wife, Rosie L. Fulmer; a sister, Elizabeth Hill and husband Bobby of Little Mountain; brothers, Harvey Fulmer and wife Shirley of Chapin, J.E. (Jack) Fulmer and wife Inez of Mobile, AL, and John Fulmer and wife Linda of Prosperity; and 10 nephews and 2 nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at St. Peter Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. The family is at the home of his brother, John Fulmer 2164 Macedonia Church Road, Prosperity. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church Window Covering Fund, 900 Dreher Island Road, Chapin, SC 29036.

Active pall bearers will be his nephews.
