Robert Michael Rivera

Robert Michael Vincent Rivera, 36, of Newberry, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at his residence.

Born on January 27, 1979, in Kokomo, IN, he was the son of Dixon Rivera II and Linda Vines Rivera. He was a Navy veteran.

Mr. Rivera is survived in addition to his parents by his wife, Mary Ann Lassale Rivera; sons, Alexander St. Pierre and Christian Giecewicz; daughters, Jennifer Lassale and Cassandra Giecewicz; sisters, Amanda Burdine, Tammie Lominick and Rhonda Cathcart; brothers, Dixon Rivera III, Arthur Moody, Jr. and Kenneth Coffey; aunt, Ogla Rivera and family and uncle, Robert Rivera and family. He was predeceased by grandparents, Olga Wiscovitch Rivera and Dixon Rivera Lugo.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 18, 2105, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 2:00 pm in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will be at the home of his parents, 752 Springhill Drive, Newberry, SC 29108.
