Ronald Swanson

Mr. Ronald J. Swanson, age 62, of Prosperity, died Friday September 3, 2010 after battling Dementia for seven years. Funeral services will be held by Rev. Dan Ratchford, at Chapin Presbyterian Church on Sunday, September 5, 2010, at 2:00 PM.

Mr. Swanson retired from Emery Worldwide Co. after 34 years of dedicated service. Surviving are his wife Denise C. Swanson; their son Jeff Swanson, wife Kris Swanson and their children, Morgan Marie and Ryan Jeffrey Swanson of Hendersonville, NC; their daughter Candace S. Higbe, husband William Anthony Higbe (Toney) and their children Alexis Marie, Maddison Grace, and Sophia Rose of Prosperity, SC.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to honor Ron by asking for donations made payable to: Springfield Place Retirement Center, 2000 Springfield Circle, Newberry, SC 29108, where Ron spent the last months of his life. Thank you and God bless!
