Ronnie C. Berley

Ronnie C. Berley, 65, of Prosperity, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at his residence.

Born on March 13, 1950, in Newberry, he was a son of Ruby Counts Berley Deaton and the late Billy Berley. He was formerly employed with Derrick Insulation for a number of years and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Pomaria.

Mr. Berley is survived by his wife, Barbara Bowers Morris; his mother, Ruby Deaton of Prosperity; sons, Douglas S. (Crystal) Berley of Little Mountain and Brent L. Berley of Prosperity; a step-son, Terry A. (Kathy) Morris of Prosperity; a brother, Harold “Woody” Berley of Pomaria; sisters, Karen (Mark) Bowers of Prosperity and Roxanne (Keith) Kibler of Statesboro, GA; grandchildren, Meagan Berley and Michael Morris and a number of nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at St. John Lutheran Church by the Rev. Derald Edwards. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00- 7:30 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
