Sandra Lee Douglass Brown, 80, of Prosperity, widow of Ronald Wayne Brown, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at her home.
Born on April 5, 1944, in Napa, CA, she was a daughter of the late Frank Gordon and Donna Martin Douglass. Mrs. Brown retired from the Department of Defense. She was a quilter who had previously owned her own quilting shop. She loved to teach classes at the Senior Center in Hinkley, California the art of quilt making.
She is survived by sons, Michael Scott (Kelly) Brown of Barstow, CA and John Edwards (Leslie) Brown of Salt Lake City, UT; daughters, Donna Lane (Gregg) Lockhart of Columbia and Patricia Eileen (Lewis) Ware of Prosperity; brothers, Gordon Douglass of Kent, WA and Frank Douglass of Tahiti; sisters, Peggy Thomas of Silt, CO and Jennifer Underwood of Denver; thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
