Sandra Horne

Sandra Catherine Senn Horne, 74, of Prosperity, widow of Joseph Henry Horne, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at her home.

Born on November 29, 1949, in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Mctire Senn and Catherine Looney Senn McConnell. Sandra attended the University of South Carolina and Newberry College. She retired from AT&T and then worked for Dr. William Edwards and Bella Dentistry. She was a member of Wightman Methodist Church and attended O’Neal Street United Methodist Church where she was a Lay Minister. Sandra was a member of the Women of the Moose.

Sharing her time with people, her children and grandchildren were most important to her and her greatest love.

Sandra is survived by a son, Joseph (Mary Catherine) Horne of Greer; a daughter, Tracey Wise of Prosperity; grandchildren, Jillian Wise, Mason Wise, Braxton Edens, Hadley Horne, Hugh Horne and Henry Horne; beloved “sister”, Margaret (Bobby) Metts; god daughter, Hope Reta and cousins, Charles Senn, Frank M. Senn, and Nancy Bailey.

She was predeceased by her step-father, Edward “Flop” McConnell and aunt, Audrey Senn.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home by the Rev. Ed Stallworth. The family will receive friends following the service.
