Sandra White

Sandra Sherrer White, 77, of Pomaria, widow of Roy L. White, Sr., died Monday, January 18, 2021 at her residence.

Born on July 2, 1943, in Asheville, NC, she was a daughter of the late Alfred C. and Floy Ellen Carter Sherrer. She retired from Sears after many years of employment. Mrs. White attended Cross Point Church and loved crocheting and her dogs. Enjoyed baking and made the best cheesecake ever.

She is survived by sons, Robert “Bob” (Suzanne) Golden of Colorado and Stephen McCay of North Augusta; a daughter, Jennifer (Donnie) Long of Pomaria; daughter-in-law, Jeanette Golden of Desert Hotspring, CA; a brother, Gary Sherrer; grandchildren, Heather Frank, Tim Williams, Nikiy Williams, Breanna Golden, Emily Terry, Will Murray, Jamie Bates, Palmer McCay, Parker McCay; three great-grandchildren and her canine companion, Nicholas. She was predeceased by a son, Jay Golden.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Graham Cemetery. The family will be at her residence where they will be receiving friends. Memorials may be made to the Newberry Animal Shelter, PO Box 485, Newberry, SC 29108.
