Sara K. Price

Sara Kingsmore Price, 78, of Newberry, widow of John David Price, died Saturday, December 24, 2022, at Lexington Medical Center.

Born on March 7, 1944, in Columbia, she was a daughter, Dewey David and Virginia Martin Kingsmore. She was the owner of Sara’s Little Darlings and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Price is survived by a son, John Kevin (Doris H.) Price of Pomaria; a daughter, Gina Price of Newberry; grandchildren, Wesley (McKinsey) Blackburn, Noah Blackburn, Kacey Freeman, Johnathan Harmon, Tibera Johnson, Lauren Price and Cody Price and great-grandchildren, Harrison Mazza, Reece Mazza and Colton Blackburn.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at St. Paul Lutheran Church by the Rev. Gary Bradenburg.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friend one hour before the service at the church.  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 42040, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-3000.

Active pallbearers will be Wesley Blackburn, Noah Blackburn, Cody Price, Johnathan Harmon, Brad Kingsmore and Mike Huffstetler.
