Sarah A. Shealy

Sarah Ann Wilbanks Shealy, 61, of Newberry, died Saturday, November 9, 2013, at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home.

Born on December 23, 1951, in Newberry, she was the daughter of the late James Martin “Fat” and Margaret Caldwell Wilbanks. She was a former substitute teacher for the Newberry County Schools and was a member of the Newberry Community Choir. Mrs. Shealy was a member of Faith Assembly of God where she was involved in the Women of the Church.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Eugene Shealy and was predeceased by a brother, William H. “Billy” Wilbanks.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Faith Assembly of God by the Rev. Edward Rivers and Rev. Eddie Bledsoe. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. The family will be at her home and will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.
