Sarah Alice "Sally" Kinard

Sarah Alice Long “Sally” Kinard, 83, of Columbia, died January 28, 2022 at Lexington Medical Center.

Born on February 7, 1938 in Newberry, she was the daughter of the late H. Thomas and Vera Elizabeth Lawson Long. Sally was a real estate agent with Century 21 Vanguard where she loved helping people. She prided herself in being able to get the necessary funding needed to help people who were having difficulty in financing their dream home. She was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church where she loved singing in the church choir. Sally was very active in the Newberry Community Players where she often played the lead role in many of the productions.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Clarence L. “Duck” Kinard, Jr.
