Shelly Kohl

Shelly Leigh Kohl, 46, widow of Barry Kohl, of Fountain Inn, died Saturday, October 16, 2021.

Born on June 18, 1975, in Tulsa, OK, she was a daughter of Donald and Marketa Woods Stevens. She was a Respiratory Therapist at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville. Though her smile is gone forever and her hand that we can not touch we still have so many memories of the ones we loved so much. Mom and Barry have left this world to soon. They were amazing, loving, caring people that loved each other….. and we loved them. Our mom was our rock. She always knew what to say to make me and my sisters feel better. Our mom loved the job that she did as a respiratory therapist saving peoples lives. With every person whom she has touched will surely carry her in their heart forever.

She is survived by her parents, Donald and Marketa Stevens; daughters, Emily Crowell, Mackenzie Heimbach (Tyler Sease) and Cora Heimbach; a sister, Melissa Hayes (Chris), Chris; nieces, Katherine Stevens and Rebecca Shally (Triston) and her best friend, Rachel Dreher.

A private family service will be held.
