Sherry Goforth

Sherry Lavonne Walters Goforth, 76, of Newberry, widow of Bryan Kelley Goforth, Sr., died Monday, June 10, 2024, at her home.

Born on April 15, 1948, in Detroit, MI, she was a daughter of the late Johnnie Tilford and Velma Ora Coleman Walters.  Mrs. Goforth had retired from Transport Training.

She is survived by sons, John Wesley (Kathy) Goforth of Cross Hill and Bryan Kelley (Brandy) Goforth, Jr. of Newberry; a daughter, Shannon Lori Goforth of Prosperity; a sister, Carol Arrington of Oklahoma; a brother, Kenneth Walters of Minnesota and four grandchildren and one step-grandchild.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Rosemont Cemetery by the Rev. Monty Osborne.
