Stanley Lominack

Stanley Harold Lominack, 65, of Newberry, died Friday, May 25, 2012.

Born on September 23, 1946, in Newberry, he was a son of the late Everette Harold and Ruth Hawkins Lominack. Mr. Lominack was a graduate of Limestone College and was a former member of the S.C. National Guard. He retired form American Fiber and Finishing and following retirement worked at Food Lion and Sam's Club at Harbison. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and the Adult II Sunday School Class.

Mr. Lominack is survived by his wife, Sandra Bedenbaugh Lominack; a daughter, Laurie L. Lominack of Columbia; brothers, James Everette Lominack, Richard Carroll (Donna) Lominack, and Donnie Lee (Tammy) Lominack all of Newberry and Kenneth Hawkins (Debbie) Lominack of Jonesville. He was predeceased by a son, Will Seth Lominack.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, May 28, 2012, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church by the Rev. Jason Schafer. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the St. Luke's Lutheran Church Bus Fund, 4056 St. Luke's Church Road, Prosperity, SC 29127.

Active pallbearers will be James Sligh, Joshua Sligh, Stephen Bedenbaugh, David Watkins, Dennis Suber, and Glenn Gerringer.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Adult II Sunday School Class of St. Luke's Lutheran Church.
