Sylvia Percival

Sylvia Shirley Percival, 75, formerly of Newberry, SC, wife of the late John Willard Percival entered into rest Wednesday, October 20, 2010, at Ashley Regional Medical Center in Vernal, Utah.

Mrs. Percival was born on February 5, 1935, in Covington, GA and was the daughter of the late James and Essie Smith. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Newberry, SC.

Survivors include three sons and their wives, Jay and Debbie Percival of Thomson, GA, Jock and Debbie Percival of Beech Island, SC, Joel and Lynn Percival of Vernal, UT; brother, Billy Smith; nine grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Percival was predeceased by a sister, Mary Helen White.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 3:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Newberry, SC followed by graveside services at Newberry Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at 2:00 PM prior to the service at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2112 Glenn Street Newberry, SC.

Pallbearers will be Chuck White, Mike Smith, John Percival, Mark Hawkins, Alex Acosta and Paul Major.
