Terry Beck

Terry Lee Beck, 52, of Newberry, died Monday, June 4, 2012.

Born on November 29, 1959 in Newberry, he was a son of Rae Tinsley Beck and the late Robert Ray Beck. He was a former employee of Charles K. Doolittle, Inc. a member of Glenn Street Baptist Church and was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his mother of Newberry; a daughter, Helen Kristen Beck of Pomaria; brothers, Keith Beck and Mike Beck both of Newberry; a grandson, Conner Lee Beck; a special nephew, Josh Beck; and his best friend, Stevie Aull. He was pre-deceased by his son Justin Neil Beck.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 PM Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Glenn Street Baptist Church by the Rev. Eddie Bledsoe, Rev. Jeff O'Dell, and Rev. Michael Whitesides.. Burial will follow in the Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Active pall bearers will be Michael Harmon, Clint Shealy, O'Neil Lindler, Dusty Stribble, David Bedenbaugh, and Brent Stribble.

Honorary pall bearers will be Ronnie Beck, Clay Beck, Eddie Wilson, Brad Beck, Nathan Beck, Richard Mercer, Frances and Waymon Bostic, Punk Beck, Sheryl and Harry Etheridge, Stevie Aull, Cynthia Aull, Loretta and Jimmy Walker, Will Bouknight, Donnie Beck, and Tommy Price.
